Auto draws
01How is the winner picked?
Before tickets go on sale we commit to a specific future drandround. The instant the timer hits zero, the bot reads that round's verifiable random value and reduces it mod the total ticket countto land on a ticket number. If that number wasn't sold, it redraws on the next attempt — every attempt is published — until it lands on a sold ticket, so a genuine entrant always wins. You can re-run the exact same maths yourself on the Verify page.
02What happens if the competition doesn't sell out?
We still draw, on time — no postponements and the cap is never extended to delay a draw. The winning number is drawn from the full ticket pool, not just the tickets sold. If the draw lands on a number nobody bought, the bot transparently redraws the next attempt — every attempt is logged — until it lands on a sold entry, so a real entrant always wins.
03When does a draw happen?
Auto draws run the moment the timer hits zero. There is no human in the loop — the bot draws, verifies, and publishes the result automatically to Draw Results.
04Can I take the cash alternative?
Yes. Every physical prize has a cash alternative listed on the raffle page — you can opt in any time before dispatch, and the money lands in your UK account within 1 working day.
05How do I watch the draw?
Every draw is auto-rendered into a short, signed video pushed to the results feed minutes after the timer ends — archived and shareable.
Instant wins
06How are the winning tickets decided?
Before the game opens we seal it to a specific drand beacon round and derive everywinning ticket number from that round's published randomness. The winners are fixed before a single ticket is sold, and anyone can re-derive the exact same numbers from the public round — nobody can change them after the fact.
07How fast do I get paid?
Instantly. If your auto-assigned number matches a sealed winner, the prize (or its cash value) credits your RAFFLEBOT wallet in under 5 seconds — no scheduled draw, no waiting.
08Can a winning number be claimed twice?
No. Each ticket number exists exactly once and is removed from the pool the moment it's bought, so a number can only ever be assigned to one player.
09What happens when an instant game ends?
The game closes when every ticket sells or the timer ends — whichever comes first. Because the drand round is public, the full set of winning numbers can be independently reproduced and verified at any time. Some games also carry a bonus grand prize drawn at close — that headline winner is picked by drand just like an auto draw.
Entering & tickets
10How do I enter?
Pick an auto draw or instant win, choose your ticket quantity, answer the skill question if the competition has one, then check out. Your entries join the sealed ledger straight away and show in your account — auto-draw tickets wait for the timer, while instant-win tickets reveal their result on the spot.
11Is there a free postal entry route?
Yes — every competition has a free postal entry route, for both auto draws and instant wins. Post a card with your details (and the skill answer where one applies) to our registered address; free entries are treated exactly the same as paid ones. Full details are on each entry page.
12Is there a limit on how many tickets I can buy?
Some competitions set a per-order and/or per-player cap to keep things fair — you'll see any limit on the entry page and in your basket. Instant wins are usually capped per transaction; auto draws typically cap each player at a share of the total tickets.
13What's the max ticket cap for a draw?
It varies from draw to draw, but every RAFFLEBOT competition is capped deliberately low. Instead of the tens of thousands of tickets you'll see elsewhere, our auto draws cap at just 500, 750 or 1,000 tickets. A smaller pool means every single entry counts for far more. The exact cap for any draw is shown on its entry page and fills up live as people join.
Prizes, delivery & eligibility
14How do I get my prize if I win?
Instant-win prizes settle automatically — site credit lands in your wallet in seconds, and physical or cash prizes are queued for fulfilment. For auto draws we email the winner to quickly verify their ID and arrange delivery so the prize is dispatched fast: cash by bank transfer (usually within 1 working day) and physical prizes shipped tracked and insured, free, to any UK mainland address.
15Who can enter?
You must be 18 or over and a UK resident. We run age and identity checks before paying out any prize. Entries from outside eligibility are void and refunded.
Payments, credit & refunds
16What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Google Pay and Apple Pay. You can also spend your RAFFLEBOT site credit at checkout, or combine card and credit on the same order.
17What is site credit and how do I use it?
Site credit is your RAFFLEBOT wallet balance — instant-win cash/credit prizes and promo codes land here. You can spend it toward any order at checkout: toggle it on and choose how much to apply, and any leftover stays in your wallet for next time.
18Do you offer refunds?
Tickets are non-refundable once a draw has closed, because they form part of the sealed ledger. If a competition is cancelled before it draws, every entry is refunded in full, automatically.
Fairness & verification
19How do I know a draw isn't rigged?
Every draw is decided by drand — a public randomness beacon run by an independent global network (the League of Entropy). The winner is found by hashing the drand signature with an attempt number and taking it mod the total tickets (sold and unsold) — trying attempt 1, 2, 3… until it lands on a sold ticket. The full entry list is hashed and published before the beacon round exists. You can recompute the result yourself on our Verify a draw page, or paste the hash into any AI.
20What exactly does "verifiable" mean here?
It means you never have to trust us. Three things are committed in the open: the sealed entry ledger, the future drand round, and one line of maths. Same inputs, same winner — every time, forever. No account or special software required.
21What stops you from changing the winners?
The committed drand round. Its randomness comes from the League of Entropy, not us, and the round number is public before a single ticket is sold — so we can't predict or influence it. For instant wins, every winning ticket number is derived from that round up front; for auto draws, the winner is derived the instant the round publishes. Either way, once entries are sealed we cannot add, remove, or reorder a single ticket.
22What is the proof code on my receipt?
It is the draw hash. Keep it. You can enter it on the Verify page at any point — even years later — to reproduce the exact winning ticket.
23Where do I see draw results?
Every completed auto draw is published on our public Draw Resultspage — winner, winning ticket and the cryptographic proof, minutes after the timer hits zero. We don't individually chase each entrant; the result is there for anyone to check and verify.
Playing responsibly
24How do you keep this safe?
We do not use fake scarcity or hidden odds. Every competition shows real, live ticket counts. You can set deposit and spend limits, or take a break, any time from your account. See our Responsible play page.
